SEVA, Free and Confidential Counseling Centre wishes to induct new volunteers and towards that a three day Training Workshop on Basic Counseling Skills was conducted from January 17 to 19, 2014.

The training which included theoretical concepts, role plays, case studies and the video presentation was conducted by Seva members. It was a well orchestrated effort - each of us choosing a couple of modules and role plays.

There were about 16 participants in the workshop and it was very well received by all. This time we strictly brought in only those whom we screened and are wanting to take on board after this training. 20 of Seva members also joined in.

The workshop gave insight into Mental health and Counseling process in a simple way. The videos, case studies and role plays enacted during the workshop gave a very good understanding of the complete counselling process.
